Witchfinder Phenomenal Trailer 2021
In 2021 ‘Witch Finder Phenomenal’ Acts 1& 2 featured at The Queer Fringe! Film Festival. It was screened as part of their 'Horror Shorts: Here Comes the Ghouls' section on Sunday Nov 14th @ The Rose Lipman in Hackney. Rosamojo created this hauntological creative autoethnographic film as part of her MA by Project at London Metropolitan University where she received a distinction. It set in the early 1980s based on my experiences growing up as a mixed-race queer girl in Harlesden. A troubled 12-year-old Aurora Mojo (Maisy Stewart- Holland) encounters witches, mermaids and wolves as she tries to free herself from the evil white privileged hell witch Bealzebette (Ella Stewart Holland), and the witch-finding spectres of gender, racism, abuse and dissociation. Filmed & Directed by Maria Rosamojo in a small living room in Brighton (and via zoom) during the Covid 19, Lockdown and the George Floyd BLM Protests in the summer of 2020. Rosamojo appears as The Witch Finder Phenomenal, The Fairy Horse Mother, Yemaya The Caribbean Mermaid, Anne Boleyn, Frida Kahlo & Billy Holliday. Carlito Mogg will play Henry VIII in Acts 3 & 4 which will be shown in 2025 where the film will be completed along with the full soundtrack. Rosamojo has also made Maisy & her mum Ella Stewart-Holland co-producers of the film.
Miss White Privilege Doll Infomercial 2018
Welcome to the culturally appropriative Dolly Wig commercial followed by an insightful narrative about the gollywog as a slave memento still being sold in modern postcolonial society. Rosamojo bought back the golly spectre by reversing it and reflecting it back to those who refuse to accept they have a privileged bias.She also made the commercial to represent the experiences of people who, like herself, are jaded, misunderstood, and ridiculed for simply being born in their own skin. For those viewers, failed by media and societal representation all their lives, she hope this commercial is a comedic tincture of karmic medicine for the racism blues. Rosamojo's song 'Black Magic' is also available on iTunes.

Dyke Marilyn (Bastard Child of Monroe & Hendrix) 1992- 2016
Maria Rosamojo performing as Dyke Marilyn, The Bastard Child of Hendrix & Monroe who exposes the white ideal of femininity's Black roo. This footage are clips shown from Zem Moffat's PHD film Mirror Mirror featuring five queer performers from London's Queer 'Club Wotever' in 2007. It will soon be intercepted with more footage and photos spanning Dyke Marilyn's Performances from 1992 - 2016. The idea of DykeMarilyn first came to Rosamojo when she appeared at London's Heaven in 1992 for queer corset designer Velda Lauder in her Psycho Marilyn show. But Dyke Marilyn's first scripted performance was in 1996 where she was called a comedy genius by Regina Fong. Dyke Marilyn has performed at venues including The National Portrait Gallery, Hackney Empire, Club Wotever, British Museum, St Hilda’s (Oxford Uni) , Stockholm Pride, and The Queer Story Telling Festival. Rosamojo has also performed as Dolly Part'em, and has appeared at the BFI with fellow queer performer Bird La Bird as Robina Redbreast.

Rosamoj shot this clip of a queer audience watching the 'Skullduggery' song sequence from her film 'Witchfinder Phenomenal' . The film features Rosamojo as Yemaya (a vengeful Carribbean mermaid) as she inspires an 11 year old Aurora through her bedroom mirror. It was shown at Queer Art(ists) Now Exhibition @ Space Station Sixty-Five, London from 17th Sept - 8th Oct. Rosamojo also sold her MARE artworks of 'The Hauntology of Rosamojo' which were felt backed with pan-inspired colours (blue, pink & yellow). Rosamojo loves to provide sensory objects that prople can feel as well view for autism awareness.
